Become a Friend
The choir would very much like you to join our Bath Minerva Choir’s Friends Scheme. This is a great way of getting to know more about the choir, its singers and friends, and of receiving advance information about our concerts and social events. It also helps us with some of the extra funding we need to put on successful concerts. We aim to keep making new friends and so increase the funds raised!
All our fundraising is important but we like our Friends scheme because it enables us to make real connections with others who enjoy choral music as much as we do. We love welcoming regular faces at our concerts and greatly appreciate the support our Friends give us.
We have three different tiers, Minerva, Sulis and Athena, as well as a Joint Membership option. Please read more below and consider which might work best for you.
All subscriptions can be Gift Aided.

Advance notice of all our concerts
Priority booking window to purchase tickets and reserve seats
Acknowledgement of your support in our concert programmes (optional)

Joint membership (2 Friends, same address) £15

Athena - £50 per year (Joint £75)

Vouchers for a free programme at each of our concerts.
Voucher for a free drink at our concerts where we are running a bar – a drink each for Joint Athena Friends!
Your money helps us, among other things, pay fair rates to our professional soloists, many of whom are just starting their careers and we hope to give them opportunities they may not otherwise get at this stage; invite high calibre orchestras to join us in concerts, including those that play period instruments where appropriate; offer reduced membership fees to those on a low income, because we believe money should not be a barrier to singing; and to perform in local venues that do justice to the music we sing, such as Bath Abbey.
