Steven Hollas
Accompanist seems a very inadequate word to describe Steve! In a very unassuming manner and with great sensitivity and expertise he holds all of us together in rehearsals, playing multiple parts and still managing to bash out whichever voice part is struggling at that moment (it’s not ALWAYS basses….sorry basses!) In short - Steve is awesome.
Steven Hollas read music at Corpus Christi College , Cambridge . He lives in Bradford-on-Avon and was head of music at St. Laurence School for several years. He now teaches piano, organ and harpsichord, mostly at the Wiltshire Music Centre.
Since 1996 he has played continuo for the period-instrument ensemble Bradford Baroque Band.
